Day 1

Arrive in Delhi | Welcome to India

Arrive at Delhi International Airport, where a Distant India Journeys representative will welcome you and assist with your arrival.
Travel by private vehicle to your selected hotel and settle in after your international journey.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a gentle introduction to the capital or keep the remainder of the day free to relax.
Your representative will assist with any immediate arrangements and brief you on the journey ahead.

Day 5

Ranthambore | In Search of the Bengal Tiger

Set out on an early morning safari into Ranthambore National Park with an experienced naturalist or forest guide.
Explore the park’s forests, grasslands, lakes and rugged landscapes while looking for Bengal tigers and other wildlife that inhabit this remarkable reserve.
Return to your resort for breakfast and time to relax during the middle of the day.
Later, venture into the park again on an afternoon safari, offering another opportunity to observe wildlife as the light and activity within the forest begin to change.
Return to your resort after the safari for a relaxed evening.

Day 6

Ranthambore to Agra | From Wilderness to Mughal India

Enjoy breakfast before leaving Ranthambore and travelling by private vehicle towards Agra.
The journey takes you from Rajasthan’s wilderness towards the heartland of Mughal India, with comfort stops arranged along the way.
Depending on the final routing and available time, a heritage stop can be incorporated en route.
Arrive in Agra and check in at your selected hotel.
Enjoy the evening at leisure or, conditions permitting, experience a quieter perspective of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River.
