Booking confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment and issuance of a written confirmation from Distant India Journeys.

Pricing
We strive to provide accurate and transparent pricing at all times. Quotations are based on the rates and availability provided by our partners at the time of proposal. Occasionally, factors such as currency fluctuations, government tax revisions, airline surcharges, or supplier rate changes may affect the final cost prior to confirmation. In such situations, we will communicate any changes promptly and work with you to ensure the best possible travel arrangements.

Payments
Payment schedules will be specified in your quotation and confirmation documents. Failure to make payments by the due date may result in cancellation of services.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation charges vary depending on the destination, hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers involved. Specific cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
Non-refundable services, including certain flights, train tickets, permits, and special event bookings, may attract 100% cancellation charges.

Travel documents
Guests are responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, permits, vaccination certificates, and any other required travel documentation.

Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, baggage loss, personal liability, and emergency evacuation.

Changes by the guest
Requests for itinerary changes after confirmation will be subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Changes by Distant India Journeys
In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, operational requirements, local regulations, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

Liability
Distant India Journeys acts as an intermediary between guests and service providers including hotels, airlines, transport companies, guides, and other suppliers. We shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, accidents, loss, injury, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Force majeure
We shall not be responsible for failure to perform any obligation due to events beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, strikes, government restrictions, war, terrorism, or adverse weather conditions.

Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
