Flights and connections
From Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, or Cancún, one-stop itineraries via the Middle East or Europe are common. We recommend comfortable layovers (not tight 75-minute connections with checked bags) and an arrival in Delhi or Mumbai that allows a gentle first day.
Jet lag and pacing
The time change is significant. We usually avoid stacking the Taj Mahal, long drives, and late dinners in the first 48 hours. A strong first-timer rhythm looks like:
- Day 1: meet-and-greet, hotel, neighbourhood walk, early night
- Days 2–4: Delhi and Agra at a humane pace
- Days 5–8: Rajasthan with realistic road times
- Optional: Kerala or Nepal if you have 14+ days
